AAB was incorporated in the state of New York in 1988 after operating as an individual proprietorship for almost 25 years under the ownership of Louis Pope, Jr. Mr. Pope has been a licensed adjuster in New York State since 1962 and a licensed private investigator since 1979.

Our Staff consists of seasoned licensed adjusters, appraisers and investigators with extensive backgrounds in their respective specialty areas.

Our goal is to provide the highest level of service available in the industry in our areas of expertise. We are cognizant of all state regulations and have built our management system to produce a final report which reflects all actions taken by our office from receipt of assignment through billing protecting our clients against violations in the event of a market conduct survey by the State Insurance Commisioner

A.A.B. utilitizes the utmost in integrity via stringent quality control and stand behind this statement with the utilization of the polygraph on our field personnel where the circumstances call for it. To our knowledge, we are the only firm to do this. Once again, we are a leader in our field.

Auto Appraisals Including Classic, Muscle, Antique & Specialty Vehicles
We handle auto appraisals of all types. Our office is completely PC-based and uses CCC Pathways, ADP, or Mitchell Estimating Systems. Work is electronically dispatched to our clients and we are capable of receiving assignments electronically as well. We can handle an auto appraisal from beginning to end whether it be partial or total loss.

Truck & Heavy Equipment Appraisals
We have on staff three expert truck and heavy equipment appraisers who handle truck and heavy equipment losses. All appraisers working in that area have hands on experience, are Vale National Certified and have been writing these types of estimates for an average of 8 years.

Property Damage Appraisals
We handle residential and light property damages utilizing the Boeck System. Our property appraiser is experienced and certified in many areas including FEMA and various CAT. agencies. We are licensed fire adjusters and will handle structural or content losses. Light commercial property is also serviced. Our office is also licensed as New York State certified residential real estate appraisers and is capable of providing evaluations of residential real estate for any appropriate reason.

Private Investigators
We are Licensed private investigators in the state of New York and offer a complete SIU unit which includes video surveillance as well as still photography where the case calls for it. Our SIU handles cases of all types and will assist you with your general liability needs as well.
